The “Biggest Loser” winner Olivia Ward has received a $250,000 prize for losing almost half of her weight. She started out with the weight of 261, suffering from various diseases due to her condition. She ended at 132 pounds and no health problems at all after winning the eleventh season of “Biggest Loser”.
The other two contestants who qualified into the final also did incredibly well, one of them losing 120 pounds, while the other 116 pounds. Hannah Curlee, Olivia’s sister, was in second place making this the first time that a team was both first and second. Olivia and Hannah were very supportive of each other and you could see them saying “I love you” over and over again during the final weigh in.
Biggest Loser Winner Olivia to Sing Opera
Biggest Loser winner Olivia told everyone that she felt fantastic and would never want the feeling to go away. She was excited to continue her career as an opera singer though I suspect she may turn more fitness guru! Her husband had even lost 113 pounds on his own! I am sure this joint weight loss will completely renew their relationship in more ways than one.
She said the secret of losing weight is in the mind rather than in the body. When you decide you will lose weight, with proper diet and exercise, your body will follow you in your path to a perfectly healthy body. She did admit in a recent interview with OK magazine that yes, she does eat french fries on occasion but really has to watch those.
The at-home winner was Deni, who was 59 years old and lost 125 pounds working on her own. She won the $100,000 prize and was looking great!
The before and after pictures of the Biggest Loser winner Olivia are a true testament to what strict diet and exercise can accomplish.
